Black Joy began with the memory of childhood summers playing outside, riding bikes, laughing with friends, and staying out until the streetlights came on.

The kind of joy that didn’t need much. Just sun on your face, time that felt endless, and the freedom to be fully in the moment.

Black Joy was created as a reminder that joy like that is still available to us. Joy is something we can make room for every day.

The Scent
It opens bright with fresh citrus and bergamot; golden, cheerful. Then orange and pineapple move in, sweet and warm, softened by a breath of lavender. It settles into amber, jasmine, and a quiet hint of vanilla.

The Candle
Hand-poured in small batches in our Akron, Ohio studio. The etched glass is designed to let a soft, ambient glow pass through and live in your space long after the last burn.
