Hi, I’m Lori, founder and candle maker behind Black Culture Candles.

I created this brand because I believe scent is more than fragrance. It’s memory; emotion. It’s a way to feel connected to ourselves, our space, the people we love, and to the culture that shaped us.

My mission is to take you on a Scent Journey through Joy, Culture, and Connection with candles inspired by our shared memories and experiences.

Each candle is handcrafted with care using a vegan coconut apricot wax blend, high-quality phthalate-free fragrance oils, and poured into etched glass for a soft, ambient glow. I pour with intention because what you bring into your home should feel good, smell good, and carry meaning.
